But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

The Heroes of Faith in the Book of Hebrews is a famous chapter. We read about how men of God were moved by faith and acted.
We see the results too. In just a few lines, we see how these men and women were rewarded by their faith.
However, reading about it is much different than experiencing it and living it.
Men of faith will strike out with only the call of God as a guide. They will suffer, make mistakes, and bear the burden of action.
However, they will also reap the rewards of the faithfulness. Their actions will establish a foundation and pattern for more to follow. They will create a lineage of faith.
Today, I pray that my focus is on being faith oriented. I want to be a man of action – willing to fulfill the call of God, despite the personal costs.
