Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
Psalms 1:1
Building an atmosphere of Godliness is an important component of an individual’s walk with God.
Seeking the presence of God grounds us, focuses us and keeps us on the correct track. It’s a disciplinary action.
This Psalm goes onto say,
The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
Psalm 1:4
The ungodly are driven by every slight of doctrine, disturbed at every corner, overreacting to every small inconvenience. They are unstable in every way.
Anger, frustration, hatred are all characteristics of the ungodly.
I pray in my life that I develop strength in God. That I am not easily turned. That I grow steadfastly.
